For over 6 years, the Gary Diocese has been in a partnership with the Diocese of Fort Liberte in Northeast Haiti. The Gary Diocese has done much to help such as subsidize their schools, provide support for their radio station, and much more. In this same spirit, parishes withing the Gary Diocese have begun partnering with parishes in Fort Liberte.
Holy Name is partnered with the parish of Our Lady of Altagrace. We have been supportive through sending special donations around Christmas. Now, Holy Name is looking to really deepen our relationship with the people of Our Lady of Altagrace. This past Christmas, we collected over 200 pounds of school supplies which were taken down with three of young adults this January. We look forward to our new partnership and who we can both help each other.
